Multi-Max Engineering Works Pvt. Ltd. is based at unit A-6 in the Industrial Estate in Partapur. If you know the Partapur area at all, you probably know that the industrial estate is where most of the town's local work gets done. We have been operating out of this A-6 unit for quite a long time. It is a solid, no-nonsense space where we keep all our lathes, milling machines, and other tools. The floor is made of thick concrete and it usually has a layer of metal shavings on it by the time the afternoon rolls around. We do not have any air conditioning in the main workshop area, so it can get pretty warm during the summer months. We just use some large industrial fans to keep the air moving while we work. Our team is made up of local folks who have been doing this kind of engineering work for the better part of their lives. We do not have a dedicated marketing team or a fancy sales department. Usually, when the phone rings, one of us just wipes our hands and picks it up. We even do most of the maintenance on our own machines when they start acting up. It is a very independent and practical way of running a business. The estate itself is getting a bit old, but it is a good community of makers. When you walk into A-6, you see the work happening right there in front of you.
