Pico Engg. Works

The factory is located on Hapur Road, right in the Rehmet Pura area. It’s called the Tala Factory site. If you come by, you’ll hear the machines before you see us. It’s an engineering shop, so it’s naturally a bit greasy and loud. We have various tools and equipment spread out across the floor. There is always something being cut or joined together. The air usually smells like oil and hot metal. We don’t have an office with air conditioning or anything like that. We spend our time out on the floor with the machines. It’s a lot of manual work and checking measurements. The building itself is an older structure, but it’s big enough for what we need to do. Hapur Road is always busy with trucks and buses, so there’s a lot of dust that comes in through the doors. We just wipe down the benches and keep going. We don’t have a website with fancy photos. What you see is what you get. Just a bunch of guys working on engineering parts and making sure the machines are running right. Sometimes things break and we have to fix our own gear before we can get back to the customer work. It’s just how a workshop like this operates. We keep things simple and focus on the task at hand. If the work is done right, that’s enough for us and the people we help.
