Goel Vikas Shilpi & Company is tucked away on Sharda Road, right inside the Kanohar Lal Market at F-22. We’re directly opposite the State Bank of India, which is how most people find us if they get lost. It’s a decent spot in Meerut. The market is always moving, but our office stays fairly steady. We have been here for a bit and the space feels lived in. It isn’t one of those glass and steel places you see in the big cities. It’s just a regular office with plenty of files and a few computers that have seen better days. We spend the bulk of our time just sitting at our desks getting through the pile of things to do. Sometimes the bank across the street gets a huge line and we watch the crowd from the window while we work. It’s an easy place to get to once you know the landmark. The address is 250002, so we are pretty central. We don’t have a lot of staff, just a few of us making sure everything is handled. The furniture is functional and the lights flicker once in a while. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. It’s just a local business on Sharda Road. We keep the doors open and just get on with it. It’s a simple life here in the market and we don't need much else to get through the day. We just focus on the task and wait for the evening.
