Kew Handicrafts

If you go to Purwa Fayyaz Ali, specifically down Lala Bhurey Wali Gali, you will find Kew Handicrafts. We are right across from the Nagar Nigam. It’s a narrow lane and things can get quite crowded, especially during the middle of the day. Our shop isn't very large, but we manage to fit everything we need inside. We spend most of our time working on various handmade items. It is a family thing for some of us, and we have been in this neighborhood for a long time. The location near Nagar Nigam makes it easy for people to describe where we are. We don't really bother with glossy brochures or anything like that. We just focus on the craft. Sometimes the shop feels a bit messy because we have materials everywhere, but we know where everything is. It’s a local operation. We talk to the neighbors, drink tea, and work on our products. Every day is pretty much the same. We open up early and stay until the work is done. You won't find anything corporate about us. We are just folks who enjoy making things with our hands in this little corner of the city. If you find yourself in Lala Bhurey Wali Gali, you can probably see us working away. It’s just how we live and work here every day. We don't have a big sign, but everyone knows the spot near the gate. It stays pretty busy around here with the foot traffic.
