Ag Handicraft

We are located right on Garh Road, not too far from the Sugar Complex. You can usually tell when the factory is running by the smell in the air. Our shop is a bit tucked away, but we’ve been here long enough that most locals can point you our way. We work with our hands mostly, making different handicraft items. It’s a bit of a messy place. We’ve got wood shavings and scraps of metal all over the floor. We try to sweep up at the end of the day but it just piles up again by ten the next morning. It’s just how it is when you’re actually making things. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy waiting room. You just walk in and you’ll see us working. My uncle started this place years ago and he still comes in to sit in the corner and tell us we’re doing it wrong. We don’t mind. It’s a family thing. The traffic on Garh Road can be a nightmare in the afternoons, especially with the tractors coming from the fields. But we like it here. It feels real. We aren't interested in making thousands of the same thing. We just take our time with whatever is on the bench that day. It’s not a fast life, but it’s our life. We just keep our heads down and work. That is all there is to it.
