Kbmb Agro (Opc) Private Limited is based in Serpur T Bar, which is near Contai. It’s a one-person company setup, though we have people who help out with the daily chores. We are located at Seuli Majumdar's place. Being in the Contai region means we are close to the coastal areas, which influences the kind of agro work we do. It’s a simple setup. We don’t have a massive warehouse or a fleet of trucks. Most of the time, it’s just about managing the small-scale agro trades that happen in this part of the district. The weather can be quite unpredictable here because of the proximity to the sea, so we always have to keep an eye on the forecast. We don’t go in for big promises or fancy talk. The work is mostly about checking the quality of products and making sure they get to where they need to go on time. It’s a lot of individual responsibility. Sometimes it gets lonely being an OPC, but there’s always someone to talk to in the local market. Serpur is a decent place to work from, even if it’s not on the main map for most people. We just keep things ticking along, focusing on the agro goods we know best. It’s a modest business, and we are fine with that. We just want to do the work and stay part of the community here for as long as we can.
