Dikha Agrofarm Private Limited

Our farm business is located in Mouza-Gopalchak, which is in the Moyna area of Purba Medinipur. Dikha Agrofarm Private Limited is centered around Plot No 35. This part of Midnapore is very much about the land and the water. The pincode is 721629. We spend most of our time out on the plot or in the small shed we use as an office. It’s not a fancy place at all. We have some boots by the door and tools leaning against the wall. The work is mostly physical, but we have to do the paperwork too. We sit down at an old wooden desk to keep track of everything that happens on the farm. The weather really dictates what our day looks like. If it’s raining hard, we are inside checking the accounts or planning for next month. If it’s sunny, we are out in the dirt. We don't use any big fancy words to describe what we do. We are just farming and trying to make the land productive for everyone. Most of the people around here are doing the same thing, so we all know each other well. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. If you come by, you just shout for someone and we will come over to see what you need. It’s a basic way of living and working that has been going on for a long time in Purba Medinipur. We like the work.
