Joyraj Agro Overseas Private Limited is based out in Bajitpur, which is in the Purba Medinipur district. We are quite far from the noise of Kolkata, tucked away in the countryside near Gobindapurbajitpur. This location is important to us because we are right where the crops are grown. Even though the name says "Overseas," most of our daily life is spent dealing with the local soil and the people who work it. We have a small office where we handle the export side of things, trying to get the local produce out to a wider market. It is a lot of work to make sure everything meets the standards for shipping long distances. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It is mostly just a few of us who know about farming and know how to fill out the forms required for shipping. The roads in Medinipur can be a bit dusty, and things don't always happen as fast as they would in a big city, but we like it that way. We take our time to make sure the products are handled correctly. It feels good to see something grown right here in our village end up in a different part of the world. We just keep our heads down and focus on the next harvest and the next shipment to keep the business moving.
