Out here in I.D.A. Bollaram, the days start early because the commute through Miyapur can be a real headache if you don't beat the traffic. Our place at Plot No. 141 is right in the middle of the industrial area, so it’s surrounded by other factories and workshops. Sun Beam Machines has been part of this landscape for a good while now. The air usually smells like metal and oil, which is just part of the job when you work with heavy machinery. We have a lot of floor space for the equipment, and it gets pretty loud when everything is running at once. Most of the staff has been here for years, and we’ve seen the area grow from a few empty plots to a very crowded industrial hub. It isn’t the cleanest environment, but it’s where the real work happens. We spend a lot of time on the shop floor checking the machines and making sure everything is aligned properly. When the sun gets high, the roof of the shed gets quite warm, so we usually take our breaks in the small shaded area near the back entrance. We don't spend much money on making the office look pretty because we'd rather focus on keeping the machines in good shape. It’s a practical way of doing things that has kept us going through all the different seasons out here in Bollaram.
