Shri Radha Public Junior High School

Our junior high school is situated on Plot No 26 along the Mathura Sonkh Link Road in Gowardhan. If you have ever been to this part of Mathura, you know it is a place filled with pilgrims and a lot of dust from the roads. We are right there in the middle of it. The school is a simple building where children from the local area and nearby villages come to study. We go up to the junior high level, so we have a mix of younger kids and those getting ready for high school. The mornings are usually the busiest time as the buses and rickshaws drop everyone off. It can get very hot here in the summer months, but we try to keep the classrooms as cool as possible. We do not have any big corporate backing or fancy marketing materials. Most of what we do is just day-to-day teaching and making sure the students are safe. You will often see the teachers sitting together during the break, talking about the day's lessons. We have a small play area where the kids spend their time between classes. It is a very traditional school in many ways, focusing on the local needs of Gowardhan families. We are just a regular part of the neighborhood, and we like it that way. No big promises, just daily school life on the link road.
