M S Eat Udyog

M S Eat Udyog is based in the village of Nanakpur Banger. To find us, you have to go toward the Raipur post office area. We are situated quite close to the Naujheel Thana. It is a rural spot and life is pretty quiet out here. We make bricks, which is what eat refers to in our name. It is a traditional business and we have been doing it this way for a long time. The soil in this part of the country is good for making strong bricks. We have a small group of workers who are all from the nearby houses. We do not have a big corporate structure or any fancy titles. I spend most of my time out in the fields checking the kiln. It is very hot work, especially in the summer months when the air is still. When the monsoon hits, we usually have to shut down for a bit. You cannot dry bricks when it is pouring rain every day. We use that time to fix our tools and clean up the yard. We do not do any advertising or marketing. People around here just know us. If someone wants to build a new room or a wall, they come by on their tractor and talk to us. It is a simple way to do business, based on knowing your neighbors. We just try to do our job right and keep the fires going.
