You can find Gopal Food Product out in the Kotwan Industrial Area. The full address is I-3&4, Upsidc, Kosikalan-281403, in the Mathura district of U.P. It’s a bit of a drive to get out here, but this is where all the work happens. E. Jaya Krishna Patra is the GM here and keeps things running on the floor. It’s an industrial spot, so there are a lot of factories and trucks moving around all the time. We focus on making food products day in and day out. The air smells like whatever we are processing that day. It’s a big space because we need the room for the machines. We’ve been part of this Upsidc area for a good while now. It’s not a place for visitors really, just a hard-working site where we get the orders filled. Most of the people working here come from the surrounding villages near Kosikalan. We start early in the morning when it's still cool outside. There is a lot of noise from the machinery, but that's just part of the job. Mathura is a busy district and being in the Kotwan area keeps us right in the middle of the action. We don't have a fancy office, just the plant and a small space for the paperwork. We just focus on getting the food products out the door. It is a simple life here in the factory. We don't do much else except work.
