Sri Vyshnavi Chetana P.U College

We are located in Menezes Towers, right in the Urwa Stores area of Mangalore. This part of the city is usually quite active. Being a P.U. College, we deal with students who are at that age where they are trying to figure out their next steps after school. It is a big transition period for them. The building itself is a standard commercial spot. We have our classrooms set up there. It is not a sprawling campus with big fields, but we make the space work for what we need. Most of the staff here have lived in Mangalore for a long time. We know the local schools and how the system works here. We spend our mornings and afternoons with the students, going through the curriculum. There is a lot of paperwork and lecturing involved every day. We are not trying to be the biggest college in the state. We just focus on the group of students we have each year. Sometimes the fans are a bit loud or the hallway gets crowded during breaks, but that is just how it is. People find us because they live nearby in Urwa or their older siblings came here. It is a practical setup. We do not use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We teach the subjects, hold the exams, and help the kids get through their two years of Pre-University. It is a lot of work for everyone, but we are used to the pace of it by now.
