Childrens Point

We are located on Market Road right opposite the Bharath Steel Center in Hampankatta. If you know the area, you know how busy it gets with all the people coming and going from the market. We have been here for a bit and the shop is a familiar sight for the locals who walk this route every day. Being in Hampankatta means there is never really a quiet moment, especially in the mornings when the deliveries are arriving and the street is full of trucks. Our shop is a straightforward place filled with things for kids. We don't have fancy decorations or anything like that because the items themselves take up most of the room. We spend a lot of time rearranging the shelves because things always seem to get mixed up when people are looking through them. Across the street, the steel center is always loud with the sound of metal moving around, which just adds to the atmosphere of Market Road. Sometimes when it rains, the water splashes up from the road and we have to move the racks further inside to keep everything dry. It is just a regular shop where we do our work and talk to the regulars. We know most of the other shopkeepers nearby and we often keep an eye on each other’s places. It is a tight-knit spot despite all the noise and the constant movement of the city.
