Our site office is located in the building called My Home, right near the Mangalore Refinery Petrochemical Ltd in Surathkal. It’s a dusty area because of all the heavy work going on nearby, but we like being close to the project. We’ve been set up here for a bit now, focusing on the construction side of things. Most days involve a lot of coordinating with teams and checking on materials arriving. It’s not the quietest place to work, especially with the refinery traffic, but you get used to the noise. We have a small crew here and everyone knows their role. We don't really have a big reception or anything like that. If you come by, you’ll probably see us in boots and work gear. The building itself is easy enough to find if you know where the refinery is. We spend a lot of hours here making sure the build goes according to what’s needed. Sometimes the weather in Surathkal makes things tricky, especially during the rains, but we push through it. We aren't here to win any office design awards, we just need a place to look at blueprints and take a breather. It’s a practical setup for the kind of heavy-duty work we do. There’s always something to fix or a deadline to meet. That’s what our days look like mostly. No frills, just getting the job done near the plant.
