Dark Bird Films

We are Dark Bird Films, and you can find us at Charishma in the Hoigebail area of Urwa, Mangalore. We’re situated quite close to Ashoka Paradise, which is a pretty well-known spot around here. This part of Mangalore is quiet enough for us to focus on our film work but close enough to the main roads when we need to get out and shoot. We’ve been here for a bit now, just working on whatever projects come our way. The office is a simple setup where we spend a lot of time editing and talking about ideas. It's a small team, mostly just friends who wanted to make films in our own way. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. We just do the work and hope people like it. Hoigebail is a nice place to be based. Sometimes we're out all day, and other times we’re just stuck behind monitors for hours. We don't really use big words to describe what we do. It’s just filming and putting stories together. People drop by occasionally to ask questions, and we try to be as helpful as possible. It’s a practical business, really. We wanted to stay in Mangalore because it’s home. We know the streets and the people. If you're near Urwa, you'll probably see us around. We don't have everything figured out perfectly, but we are learning and growing with every new project we take on here.
