Mandya Fisheries Farmer Producer Company Limited is set up at C/O Gayathrimudagundhuru. Mandya is a place well known for its water and its farming, so having a fisheries company here makes a lot of sense. We are a group of fish farmers who decided to get organized. Most of us have our own ponds or work with the local water bodies around Mudagundhuru. Our setup is quite informal, working out of a local space without much fuss. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in the world, we just want to make sure the fish farmers in Mandya have a fair shake. We spend our days checking on the fish and talking to the other members about what needs doing. It is a lot of physical work and sometimes things go wrong, but that is part of the life. We don’t use marketing talk or make huge claims. We are just local people who know about fish. If you are in the Mudagundhuru area, you will find us nearby. We like the way things are here, simple and focused on the job at hand. The water keeps us busy and the company keeps us connected. We don't need much more than that. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing, year in and year out. It’s a good community to be a part of and we are glad to be here.
