Haradanahalli Hobli Farmer Producer Company Limited is located at No-122 on the ground floor of a building in 2nd Crossarakalavadi. It is a simple office where we keep our records and meet with the farmers from the hobli. We aren't a big company with lots of employees. It is mostly just us local folks who have been tilling the soil for years. Arakalavadi is a place where everyone knows everyone else’s business, especially when it comes to farming. We started this group because we wanted a way to buy seeds and tools at a better price. Doing it one by one was just getting too expensive for most of us. Now, we gather at the ground floor office to talk about the season ahead. The rains haven't always been reliable lately, so we spend a lot of time worrying about that. It’s a plain space with a few chairs and some registers, nothing like those modern offices in the city. We focus on what we grow in Haradanahalli and how to get it to the market. Sometimes the prices are good, sometimes they are not. That’s just how it goes for a farmer. We do our best to help each other out when things get tough. If you walk down 2nd Cross, you will probably see one of us outside talking about the latest crop prices. It’s just daily life for us here.
