Krishna Exports

Our business, Krishna Exports, is tucked away on Harangi Main Road, right near the Government Degree College in Coorg. Being in this part of the country means dealing with a lot of rain and some very winding roads. We handle the packing and shipping of various local goods that need to go elsewhere. The warehouse is a plain building with a tin roof that gets very loud when it pours. Our days are spent checking manifests and making sure the crates are sturdy enough for the long haul. Moving bags around and taping up boxes until our fingers get sore is a lot of physical work. Students from the college walk past our gate every morning, and sometimes they stop to ask what we are sending out today. There isn't a fancy corporate structure here. It’s mostly family and a few neighbors helping out when things get busy during harvest season. Trucks are often late because of a landslide or just bad traffic on the way to the coast. That is just part of living in the hills. A pot of coffee stays going all day because it gets a bit chilly here. The office is just a corner of the warehouse with a couple of old wooden desks and a filing cabinet that always sticks. We just try to get the orders out without too much fuss or delay.
