Chikkabasur Farmers Producer Company Limited

Our place is in the K V C Complex, right near the Thilavalli Cross in Chikkabasur. If you are driving by, you might see us there. We are just a bunch of farmers from the area who decided it was time to work together. It gets pretty loud and busy around the cross, but that is just how life is here. We are not doing anything fancy, just trying to manage our crops and sales as a group. A few of us spend the mornings checking the fields and then we head over to the complex to deal with the logistics. There are plenty of challenges with the land and the water, but having the company helps us stay a bit more organized. People come in and out all day long. We do not use big words or have long meetings. Usually, we just sit down with some tea and talk about what needs to be done for the week. It is a practical way of doing things. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit much, but we help each other out with it. Most of the folks around here have known each other since they were kids. That makes it easier to trust the process. We just want to make sure the farming stays viable for the families around Chikkabasur. It is a long road ahead but we are taking it one day at a time.
