The Heritage International School

If you are traveling along National Highway 34 in Malda, you’ll come across The Heritage International School in the Kaliachak area. It’s a busy stretch of road, so there’s always something moving outside our gates. Despite being near the highway, once you step inside, the atmosphere changes quite a bit. We have a fair amount of space here for the students. The classrooms are laid out in a way that lets in a good amount of natural light, which is nice for the kids while they work on their lessons. We cover the standard curriculum, making sure the students stay on top of their studies throughout the term. Being in Kaliachak, we see a lot of children from the surrounding villages and towns. Our staff is dedicated to the daily routine, from the morning prayer to the final lesson of the day. The playground is often a hive of activity during the lunch hour, with kids running around despite the heat. We have some trees planted along the fence to help with the noise from the highway. It’s not a perfect setup, but we work hard to keep everything running smoothly for the families in the 732201 district. We don't use much fancy language to describe ourselves; we are just a school where local kids come to get an education. People know where we are, and we’ve become a regular part of the local landscape over the years. We just try to provide a solid place for learning every single day.
