Gousia I.D. Cards

Gousia I.D. Cards is a local shop we run over in Mothabari, Kaliachak. We specialize in making identity cards for the schools, colleges, and various small offices in this part of the district. It’s a straightforward business that we started because there was a need for it nearby. Our shop is not very large, and it is usually filled with the sound of our printers and the smell of warm plastic from the laminator. We handle everything from taking the photos to the final clipping of the cards. Many students from the local schools come to us, especially at the start of the new academic year. It gets quite hectic then, with kids lining up out the door. We don't have a corporate office or any fancy marketing materials. People in Mothabari just know us by word of mouth. Sometimes the dust from the road gets into the machines, so we have to spend a lot of time cleaning them to make sure the print quality stays good. Our counter is almost always covered with samples and scrap pieces of plastic. We stay open late into the evening because that is when most of our customers have the time to stop by. It is just a basic, honest way to make a living. We enjoy being a part of the community here and seeing familiar faces every day. There is nothing complicated about how we work; we just do the job.
