Disang Bamboo Fed Producer Company Limited

Our group is called Disang Bamboo Fed Producer Company Limited and we are based right here in Mon Mohon Borpothar Gaon, which some folks also call Siffry Borpothar. We operate out of Naren Newar’s place. It is not a fancy corporate setup or anything like that. We are just local people who work with bamboo. Most of our days are spent out in the fields or handling the raw materials near the village paths. Mon Mohon is our post office, and that is where our mail goes. We started this because we needed a way to organize the bamboo work in our community. It is a lot of physical labor, and the weather often dictates how much we can get done in a week. When it rains heavily, the roads get a bit difficult, but we manage to keep things moving. We do not have a big office with air conditioning. We mostly meet at Naren Newar’s spot to discuss our plans and keep the records. It is a practical arrangement that works for us. Everyone in the gaon knows what we do. We are just trying to earn a living from the land we grew up on. There are no big speeches here, just honest work with our hands. We take the bamboo, sort it, and get it ready for transport. It is a simple life, and we just keep at it day by day without any fuss.
