Our place is located at H.No. 53 in Ward No. 4, specifically in the Rudha area of Saraipali. We are a bunch of farmers who decided it was time to join up instead of trying to handle everything on our own. It's a lot of paper work and stuff we weren't used to at first. The office is really just a room where we keep our records and meet when the sun goes down or before the day gets too hot. Dealing with buyers is usually the hardest part of the job. They want one thing and the ground gives us another. We try to organize the harvest so we can get it to market without things rotting. It's not a perfect system yet but we are learning. Our address is 493558 and people around here know where we sit. Some days the fans don't work and we just sit there sweating and talking about seed costs. It isn't pretty or professional in the way city people think. We have dirt under our nails and our boots are usually muddy. That's just how life is when you work the land. We wanted to make sure the farmers in our little corner of Saraipali had a way to talk to each other. Sometimes we share a tractor or help out if someone gets sick. It's just us trying to stay afloat in a tough business. We don't have much but we have each other and our crops.
