Our group is located in Ward Number 03, House Number 45/55, in a place called Gudhiyari. This is part of Bhukel, in the Basna area of Mahasamund. We are a team of women who decided to come together and handle the farming business ourselves. It’s not always easy running things, but we’ve managed to keep going. The office is really just a room in the house where we keep all our ledgers and bags of grain. We spend a lot of our time talking to other women in the village about what they're growing. It’s a local effort, and we take pride in that. You won't find any glossy brochures here. We mostly just talk face to face. The address is 493554 for anyone looking for the exact spot. We have had to learn a lot as we went along. Some days the logistics are a mess, and other days everything works out fine. We deal with the rains and the pests just like everyone else. It feels good to have something of our own. Most of us have lived here all our lives, so we know every corner of Mahasamund. We just wanted to make sure the farmers here had a way to get their produce to market without too much trouble. It's a simple goal and we're sticking to it.
