Wisdom Institute Of Catering Tech. is a small school located at 28 R.C. School Street in Chinnamanur. This is down in the Theni District, a place known for its greenery and hills, though our street is more of a busy town spot. We spend our days teaching young people how to handle things in a professional kitchen. The building is an older one, and you can usually smell whatever the students are cooking from the sidewalk. It is a very hands-on place where we focus on the basics like cutting vegetables, managing stoves, and learning how to serve food properly. We aren't a massive university with a huge campus; we are just a practical training center on a regular street in Chinnamanur. The students come from all over the Uthamapalayam area and the rest of Theni. We have some basic classrooms and a kitchen area that gets very hot and crowded when everyone is working at once. The staff here are mostly people who have worked in dhabas or small hotels before. We don't use big words or complicated theories; we just show them how to do the work so they can find a job later. It is a noisy, busy place with lots of clanking pots and pans. People in the neighborhood know us by the sounds and the smells coming from our kitchen windows every morning. We just try to get them ready for a real job in the food industry.
