Lotus Institutes

Lotus Institutes is located over at Melamart Street, right near Jeyaram Bakery. If you know that bakery, you know exactly where we are. We have been in this spot for some time now. The building is No 38/21-A at Periyar Nilayam. It’s a busy part of Madurai, so there is always something going on outside our windows. We mostly spend our time working with students who need a bit of extra help with their studies. It isn't a massive corporate office or anything like that. It’s just a few rooms where people can sit and learn. We try to keep the atmosphere relaxed because studying is already stressful enough for most people. Sometimes we grab a tea from the shop nearby and just talk about how the classes are going. The stairs up to the office are a bit narrow, but everyone gets used to it. We aren't doing anything flashy here. We just show up every morning, open the doors, and get to work. Most of our students live nearby in the 625001 area. Being near the bakery is actually a bit of a problem because it always smells like fresh bread and everyone gets hungry during the lessons. But we like the neighborhood. It’s home for us. We just take things one day at a time and help out whoever walks through the door. There is always someone popping in to ask about a class time or just to say hello.
