Vetri Driving School

We are located at No 61 on Theni Main Road in the P P Chavadi area of Madurai. You can find us near Thai Moogambikai Mahal, which is a pretty well-known landmark around here. Our daily routine involves a lot of driving up and down the main roads and some of the quieter side streets. We use a few different cars for the lessons, and we make sure they are kept in decent running order despite all the wear and tear from new drivers. Learning to drive in Madurai traffic can be a bit of a challenge, especially near Kalavasal, but that’s where we do most of our work. We sit with the students and help them understand how to navigate the busy intersections and the local bus traffic. The office is just a small room where we fill out forms and help people with their driving tests. It gets pretty hot during the middle of the day, so we try to schedule the lessons for the early morning or later in the afternoon when it’s a bit cooler. We aren't a big company with many branches; we’re just a local school helping people get their licenses so they can get around town on their own. We’ve taught many people from the neighborhood over the years, and it’s always nice to see them driving safely later on. Sometimes the students bring us sweets after they pass their test, which is a nice touch.
