Sri Kumaran Driving School

If you are looking for us, we are at number 21 on the Usilampatti Main Road in Elumalai. It is just a small office with a couple of chairs and a desk where we handle the paperwork for licenses. We spend most of our time out on the road anyway. We have a few cars that we use for the lessons, and they are not brand new, but we keep them running well enough. Driving around here can be tricky with all the traffic and the narrow spots, so we start the beginners out in the quieter areas first. We don't have a big staff, just a few instructors who know these roads like the back of their hands. We don't use any fancy simulators or classroom setups. The best way to learn is to sit in the driver's seat and get a feel for the clutch and the gears yourself. Sometimes the schedules get a bit messed up if a car needs a repair or if the weather is really bad, but we always try to make it up to the students. It is a straightforward business. People come to us because they want to get their license and learn how to handle a car without hitting anything. We talk them through the signs and the rules while we are actually driving. It is a practical job, and we just try to be patient with everyone while they learn.
