Rani Driving School

Rani Driving School is located over in Villapuram, Madurai. Our address is No 2A/13. We are right near the SBI ATM and the Jey Villas signal, so we are pretty easy to spot if you are driving by. Madurai traffic can be a real headache, especially for someone just learning to get behind the wheel. We spend most of our day in the cars, sitting in the passenger seat with the extra brake pedal. It gets very hot here in the summer, so we try to do the lessons early or later in the evening when the sun isn't so strong. The office itself is just a small room where we handle the paperwork and the license applications. We have a few different cars that we use for teaching. They aren't brand new, but they are well-maintained and reliable enough for the job. Most people who come to us are a bit nervous at first. We just sit with them and go through the basics of the clutch, the brake, and the gears. We've seen all kinds of drivers over the years. Some learn fast and some take a lot longer, but we don't rush anyone. It’s a practical job. We deal with the local RTO office a lot, which can be a slow process with all the forms. We just keep at it every day. If you see our cars out on the road near the signal, that’s just us helping someone learn the ropes.
