Our small office is at 2/112 on Sandu Veethi in the village of Kulumur. This is part of the Sendurai area in Perambalur. We are just a group of local farmers who decided to join forces. It is much easier to buy supplies and sell our crops when we work as a producer company. Sandu Veethi is a narrow little lane. People often stop by just to chat while we are working on our books. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. Usually, one of us is just sitting near the door. The Perambalur sun is quite strong, so the village gets very quiet in the middle of the day. We start our work in the fields at dawn and head to the office once the heat becomes too much. We deal with whatever is growing in the fields around Kulumur. It might be corn or cotton or something else depending on the season. We don't have any fancy mission or corporate goals. We just want to make a decent living for our families. The company belongs to all the farmers here. We share the equipment and help each other out during the harvest. It is a simple, practical way of living.
