We are located at Rajangampoocharam Illam, which is at 37 Mothilal Main Road right by the Karimedu Market in Madurai. Rameshwaram Fishermen Farmers Producercompany Limited is a bit unique because we bring together both people who work the sea and those who work the land. Madurai is a busy place, and being near the market means there is always a lot of noise and movement around us. Our office is in a regular house, so it doesn't feel like a cold business environment. We have people coming in all day from the coast and from the nearby fields to talk about their catch or their crops. It can get pretty chaotic with all the different things going on at once. We don't have any polished slogans or corporate rules. We just try to help our members get a fair deal for what they produce. The office is often full of the smell of the market and the sound of horns honking outside on Mothilal Main Road. It’s a real place with real problems, like broken trucks or fluctuating prices. We don't try to hide that. We just show up every day and try to figure it out together. Most of us have been in this industry for a long time, so we know how it goes. It’s just a group of fishermen and farmers trying to navigate the market together from our little spot in Madurai.
