Mani Traders

We have been here at 8/98 on Fifth Street for quite a long time now. Most people find us easily because we are right across from Winner Bakery in the Cauvery Nagar area. It is a busy spot with people always coming and going for their bread and cakes. Mani Traders is not a fancy place at all. It is just a regular shop where we handle our business every day. My brother and I started this because we wanted to work for ourselves and be part of the neighborhood. We deal with various goods that the local people need for their homes. Madha Kottai Street gets quite crowded in the evenings, but it feels like home to us. Sometimes the power goes out or the rain makes the street a bit of a mess, but we keep the doors open anyway. We do not have a big corporate office or anything like that. We just have our small space where we keep things organized as best as we can. If you are walking past the bakery, you will see our sign hanging out front. We try to keep things simple and honest. There is usually a lot of noise from the traffic outside, but we have gotten used to it over the years. People often stop by just to chat or pick things up on their way back from work. It is a decent life here. We have known our neighbors for years and that makes the work feel better.
