You can find Pkm Autocom at C-4/1 in the Industrial Estate in K. Pudur. This place is right in the middle of a lot of manufacturing activity. We work on auto components, so there is a lot of metal and the smell of machine oil in the air most of the time. Our workshop floor is where most of the action happens. We have various machines that stay running for hours to get the parts out. It is a noisy place, and we usually have to raise our voices to be heard over the clanking of the equipment. It is just a local business trying to keep up with the demands of the automotive sector. We aren't a massive corporation with thousands of employees. It's just a dedicated crew that knows how to handle the tools and the materials. The K. Pudur industrial area is a good spot for us because everything we need is nearby. Sometimes we have issues with power cuts, which can be frustrating when we are in the middle of a production run. We just deal with it and get back to work as soon as the lights come on. There is no corporate polish here. We have grease on our hands and we work hard until the shift is over. It’s a straightforward operation. We focus on making the components correctly so they fit where they are supposed to. The work is repetitive but it is what we do well.
