T V Sundram Lyengar & Sons Limited

Down on West Veli Street, things are always moving. Our building at 7-B is right in the middle of it all. T V Sundram Lyengar & Sons Limited has been part of this street for longer than most people can remember. It’s a busy place with a lot of history baked into the walls. You can smell the street food from the vendors outside while we're trying to get through the paperwork. We deal with a lot of different things, mostly to do with transport and parts, but it feels more like a big family operation than a giant corporation. The stairs creak a bit, and the filing cabinets are full, but we know where everything is. It’s not the kind of office where you wear a suit every day unless there’s a big meeting. Usually, we just wear shirts and trousers and drink a lot of coffee or tea to keep going through the afternoon slump. We see the same faces every day, both the staff and the customers who’ve been coming to us for decades. There’s a lot of trust built up over time. You can’t really buy that. It comes from being on this street, year after year, just doing what needs to be done. We don't spend much time on fancy talk. Our focus stays on the task at hand so we can get home before the traffic gets too bad. Life just works that way here.
