Gurukulam Iit Academy

Gurukulam Iit Academy is tucked away on Abdul Khaffer Khan Street in Tallakulam. We are at No 9, which is directly opposite Echo Park. It is actually quite nice being near the park because there is a bit of green to look at when you step outside for a breath of air. The street isn't as crowded as the main markets, so it’s a bit more peaceful for the students. We have a few rooms set up for the classes. They are quite basic with standard desks and chairs. We aren't interested in looking corporate or having a polished reception area. People just come here to get their work done. The walls are mostly covered with old charts and schedules that we’ve pinned up over the years. Tallakulam is a good area to be in, and being so close to the park makes it easy to give directions. Sometimes the noise from the park or the passing traffic comes in, but we are used to it by now. We spend most of our day here, from the morning batches until the sun goes down. It’s a very practical environment. There are no big promises or marketing tricks here. We just open the doors, turn on the lights, and start the day’s work. It feels like a small community where everyone knows each other’s names and we just focus on the books.
