Sahyogini Producer Company Limited

Sahyogini Producer Company Limited is based in Hariharpur, at the home of Rashmi Kumari and her husband Akhilesh Kumar Singh. We are located in the Rupauli area of Saraiya. Our name, Sahyogini, is about helping each other out, which is exactly why we started this. Most of us are from the village or nearby, and we’ve always worked in the fields. We wanted to have a way to organize our work better, so we formed this company. Rashmi looks after a lot of the details from her house. It’s not a fancy office, just a home where people feel welcome to come and talk. We deal with whatever the local farmers are growing or making at the time. It is a very hands-on job. We spend a lot of time talking to the women and men in the village about how to improve things. We don't have a big budget for advertising, and we don't really want one. We’d rather spend that time making sure the crops are healthy. Life in Hariharpur moves at its own pace, and we fit right into that. We help with the seeds, the harvesting, and getting the goods to the market in Saraiya or further. It’s about sticking together so we can all do a bit better. We aren't experts at everything, but we know our community and we know our work. People around here trust us because we are part of the same village.
