Abdul Farmer Producer Company Limited

We are the Abdul Farmer Producer Company Limited. Our home base is at Abdul Shakur’s place in Sohraul. That is part of the Karhara area in Benipatti. We are a group of farmers who decided to get together and form this company. It is not about being a big corporation. It is about us producers having a name to work under. Benipatti is where we live and breathe, so it makes sense to have our office here. It is just a simple building where we meet up to discuss what we are going to grow and how to sell it. Abdul handles a lot of the coordination from his house. We don’t have fancy uniforms or a website that looks like a movie. It is mostly just muddy boots and talking about the rain. Sometimes we argue about which crops are better for the season, but that is part of the job. We aren't professionals in suits. We are people who work the land. We handle everything from the seeds to the final sale. It is a lot of work and sometimes we wonder why we do it, but then we see the harvest and it feels right. If you come to Sohraul, anyone can point you to where we are. We are just a local bunch trying to do better for our families and our village. It is straightforward and we keep it that way for everyone.
