Wool & Woolens Export Promotion Council

Our office is located at 704/3 in Gurdev Nagar, right off Pakhowal Road. The Wool & Woolens Export Promotion Council is a place where we spend a lot of time talking to different weavers and exporters. It’s a busy spot, and the traffic on Pakhowal Road can be a real headache some days. Inside the office, you’ll see shelves full of samples and folders stuffed with regulations and trade documents. We aren't a manufacturing unit ourselves; we are more of a hub where people come for information and help with their exports. It’s a lot of talking on the phone and meeting with people who are trying to get their woolen goods to other countries. The office doesn't have any high-end furniture, just some sturdy tables and chairs that have been here for years. We drink a lot of tea while we go over the latest trade news or help someone with their paperwork. It’s a friendly atmosphere, and we try to be as helpful as we can without being overly formal. Gurdev Nagar is a good location for us because it’s easy for most people to reach. We just do our best to support the local industry and keep things moving in the right direction. It's regular work, but it feels important to the community here. There is always something to do and we like staying busy with the local trade.
