Ambalika Overseas

We’re over at the Rajpura Warehouse on Old Court Road. Ambalika Overseas has been using this space for a long time now. It’s a sturdy old building, maybe not the prettiest sight, but it keeps the rain off the goods and the sun away. That’s all that really matters in this line of work. We handle quite a bit of stock here. Rajpura is a good spot for us because of the transport links. Most days start early, usually before the sun is even fully up. We have to get the trucks loaded so they can beat the worst of the traffic on the main roads. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting and moving boxes, but it keeps us on our toes. We don't have a marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us. If you call, you’ll probably talk to one of the guys who was just out on the floor. We try to keep things straightforward. If there’s a problem, we fix it without making a fuss. We don't use big words or try to act like we're some huge corporation. We’re just a local business doing our bit. The warehouse can get cold in the winter and pretty hot in the summer, but we’re used to it by now. We’ve got a small desk in the corner for the paperwork, but most of the action happens on the floor. It’s a busy life, but it’s what we know how to do. We just keep our heads down and do the job as best we can.
