Our place is on Street No. 7 in Bachittar Nagar, which is just off Gill Road. If you’ve ever been to Gill Road, you know it’s the heart of the machinery market here, so there are always trucks being loaded and people moving heavy parts around. Our shop is a bit further down in the residential-industrial mix of Bachittar Nagar. We’ve got a sign outside, but it’s pretty modest. Inside, we have various machines for woodworking in different stages of being put together. There’s usually a bit of grease on the floor and the smell of metal being worked. We don’t have a big sales team; it’s mostly just the guys who know how the machines work. The office is just a small room at the front with a couple of chairs that have been there for years. We don’t really do any fancy marketing or have a glossy brochure. If someone wants to see what we make, they just walk into the back and look at the actual machines. It’s noisy because of the nearby workshops and the traffic from the main road, but we’re used to it. We keep things simple and just focus on making sure the equipment is built right. It’s a straightforward business, and we’ve been operating out of this same street for quite some time now.
