Welcut Industrial Soloutions is located at 20 Central Market on Gill Road. It’s a pretty central spot, so there’s always a lot of traffic and noise outside. Being in the market means we get all sorts of people walking in. We deal with industrial supplies and solutions, mostly things that help other businesses keep their machines running. It’s not a glamorous job, but someone has to do it. The shop is filled with shelves of different parts and equipment. Sometimes it takes a minute to find exactly what a customer is looking for because we have so much tucked away in the back. We try to keep things simple. If we have it, we’ll tell you. If we don’t, we might know where you can find it. We’ve been on Gill Road for years and have seen the market change quite a bit. But our shop stays pretty much the same. We don’t go for those big flashy displays you see in the newer parts of town. Our customers are mostly local guys who need something specific to finish a job. We talk about the weather or the local news while we’re packing up an order. It feels like a community here. We just show up every morning, open the shutters, and see who needs help today. It’s a living, and it keeps us busy enough. We don't overcomplicate things here on Gill Road.
