If you know where Arora Palace is on Gill Road, then you can find us pretty easily. We are right across from it in New Janta Nagar at Plot No.2674. The mill has been a part of this street for quite some time now. It’s always noisy with the sound of the machines processing the grain. You can smell the rice in the air when you get close to Street No. 1. At Vs Modern Rice Mill, we don't really have time for fancy stuff. It’s mostly about keeping the equipment running and making sure the bags are filled correctly. The trucks are always coming and going, which makes the plot pretty busy during the day. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years, but we’re still here doing the same thing. It’s a family-run kind of place, so you’ll usually see one of us around the floor. We don’t use any big words or marketing tricks. We just mill the rice and sell it to the folks who need it. Sometimes the dust gets everywhere, but that’s just how a rice mill is. We try to keep things organized, but it’s a working mill, not a showroom. Customers usually just walk in and ask for what they want. We like the hustle and bustle of Gill Road. It keeps us on our toes and ensures there's always something to do from early morning until late in the evening.
