Rafi Rice Mill

Rafi Rice Mill is situated at 2625, Street Number 2, in Guru Nanak Colony. We are right opposite G.N.E. College, so there is always a crowd of students and commuters passing by our front gate. Milling rice is what we do, and it is a dusty and noisy process most of the time. The smell of raw grain is the first thing you notice when you walk into the mill. We have been at this location for a long time and the locals in the colony are used to the sound of our equipment. It is a simple setup with old-style machines that still get the job done. We do not have any big fancy signs or a marketing department. We just focus on processing the rice and getting it into bags for the customers. Sometimes the street outside gets blocked when the trucks arrive to load up, but we try to move as fast as we can. The floor is usually covered in a layer of husks by midday, and we spend a good amount of time cleaning up after ourselves. We do not use any big corporate phrases or have long meetings. We just show up in the morning and start the machines. It is a basic business run by real people who know the trade. If you need us, we are usually there from dawn until dusk, just working through the piles of grain.
