Vishkarma Iron And Cement Store

Our store is located at Rahon Road 8. It is a heavy and dusty place with all the iron rods and big cement sacks stacked up high. The floor is mostly a dull grey color from all the cement dust that settles everywhere. I spend almost my entire day checking the stock levels and helping people load heavy items onto their trucks. It is hard physical work and my hands are always a bit rough and dirty. We get a lot of local builders and also regular people who are just fixing up their own houses. The iron rods are kept in the back area because they are so long. They are very heavy and take a lot of effort to move around. Rahon Road is always busy with big lorries passing by. I have been working here at number 8 for many years now. It is not a pretty or decorated shop at all. It is more like a warehouse. We have piles of bricks sitting outside sometimes too. I do not use a computer for my work, I just use a simple notebook to keep track of the accounts and the sales. Everything is done manually here. If a delivery truck arrives late, I have to stay late to help unload it. It gets very hot under the tin roof during the summer months. We have a small fan in the corner that does not do very much. It is just an honest iron and cement store for the building trades.
