Onkar Trading Co. is located at number 772 in Tagore Colony. We are right in the middle of the New Cycle Market, which is a very specific kind of place. If you have ever been here, you know it is packed with cycles, parts, and people looking for deals. Our shop is old and it has seen a lot of years. The shelves are heavy with stock, and it can be a bit of a maze inside. We don’t have any modern decor or air conditioning. It is just a traditional shop where we do our trading every day. Tagore Colony is a tight-knit community of traders and we all know each other’s business. We spend a lot of time sitting out front, talking to neighbors, and waiting for customers to drop by. There is no corporate structure here; it is usually just one or two of us handling everything from sales to sweeping the floor. We don’t use any fancy language to describe what we do. We just buy and sell what is in demand. Some days are very busy and the market is loud, while other days are quite slow and we just sit and drink tea. We have been here for a long time and we don't plan on changing how we do things. It is a simple, honest way to make a living in the market.
