Verma Mill Store

We are located at Shop Number 1 in Ranjit Nagar, right behind the ATI College. If you find the college, you’re basically there. We are also quite close to Street Number 1 on the Shimla Puri Road. It’s a busy little corner. The store is filled with all the kinds of things a mill or a workshop might need to keep running. We have belts, pulleys, and various hardware items piled up everywhere. It’s not the most organized place in the world, but we know where everything is kept. The students from the college sometimes walk past and look in, but mostly it is technicians and factory workers who come through our door. We spend a lot of time measuring things and checking sizes. If a customer brings in a broken part, we spend a while looking through the bins to find a match. The shop gets a bit dusty because of the road outside, so we are always wiping down the counters. It’s just me and a couple of others here most days. We don't have a big marketing plan or anything like that. We just open the shop, wait for the customers, and try to give them what they need so they can get back to their own jobs. The tea stall nearby is where we get our morning break. It’s a quiet life in a noisy part of town, just keeping track of the small bits and pieces that make bigger machines work.
