You can find us at 529 on Oswal Street No. 1 in Miller Ganj. This area is famous for all sorts of small industries, and we fit right in with our spring making. Amin Chand Spring Industries is basically a big shed filled with coiling machines and piles of wire. The sound of metal hitting metal is pretty much constant from morning until evening. We make all kinds of springs—some tiny ones for small gadgets and some huge ones for trucks and heavy machinery. It’s greasy work, and your hands are almost always covered in oil by the end of the shift. We’ve been at this spot for many years, and the building has definitely aged along with us. The roof leaks a little when it pours, but we just move the machines out of the way. We don't have a fancy showroom or anything. People just come to the gate and tell us what they need. We spend our time measuring wire thickness and testing how much the springs can bend before they snap. It's practical, honest work without any frills. Most of our neighbors on Oswal Street are doing similar stuff, so there is a lot of clanging and banging all day long. We just focus on our own bench and make sure the coils are tight. It’s not a glamorous life, but it keeps us busy and the bills paid. We enjoy the work.
