Working out on G T Road by C V Raman Road means we see a lot of the city passing by our front door. It’s a major route, so the dust and the noise are just part of the environment here. We deal with machines, and machines are rarely clean or quiet. Our day usually starts with checking the schedule and seeing what needs to be moved or set up on the floor. It’s a large space, but it always feels a bit cramped once you get the bigger equipment in there. We don't have any marketing people or anyone to write fancy brochures. We just know how to handle the equipment we’ve got. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, like when it’s too humid and everything feels sticky, or when the wind blows the road grit inside. We just sweep it out and keep going with whatever is next. Most of us have been working together for a long time, so we don't need to say much to get the job done. We just know who does what and when. We take our tea together in the back when we have a spare moment. The work is heavy and it can be tiring on the back, but it's what we know. We don't make a big fuss about things. If the power stays on and the machines keep running, it's a good day for us.
