We are up on the second floor of the BM Complex, right on the Dholewal G T Road. It is a loud area with all the trucks and traffic passing by on the main road, but you get used to the background noise after a week or two. We do media and communication work, which basically means we spend our time on computers and phones trying to get messages out for various people and companies. The office is a bit of a maze with all the desks, chairs, and cables running along the floor, but it is our space and we like it. We do not have a receptionist or a lobby with glossy magazines. If you come up the stairs, you will probably just see one of us leaning over a monitor or talking loudly on a mobile phone. It is a practical environment. We have been in this building for some time now and know the other tenants well. The power goes out occasionally, like it does anywhere else, and we just wait for the generator to kick in so we can finish our emails. It is not a fancy corporate headquarters, just a working office in a busy part of town. We handle a lot of different projects at once, so things can get a little chaotic during the busy season. We do not really go in for big meetings or long speeches. We just talk across the room to each other to get things sorted out.
